About

For as long as I can remember, I have always loved working creatively. My mother, and later teachers, nurtured my desire to draw, paint, and create using various mediums, which brought attention and awards throughout grade school and high school.

After graduating from college, I attended the American Center of Design and received my Design Management Certificate. My career in Design, Advertising, and Marketing nourished my appreciation of creativity as I worked closely with product, package, and graphic designers.

When my children were young, I left my desk job and started picking up the paintbrush again. I'm so happy I did!

I paint from the memories of travel adventures, boat cruises on the Intracoastal, and from the great beauty of looking at a body of water from the shore.

Painting has brought so much joy into my life, and it pushes me to become a more thoughtful observer of the beauty surrounding me. I hope my paintings move people to recall their times by the ocean or adventures in the Lowcountry. 

I sell my work through this website, by word of mouth/social media, at Flow Gallery (@flowpalmettobluff) in Bluffton, SC, and through a few art shows each year. My work has also been featured in The Paris Market (@theparismarket).
